 Despite the fact that Anna Wintour, editor of the most authoritative American Vogue, once said that in the pages of its publications complete models will never, Italian editors of publications judged differently.
Vogue Italia is not just invited the so-called plus-size models on the cover. Full of girls devoted a large part of the magazine. It all began with the fact that the site of the magazine launched a special portal for Vogue Curvy women with forms. And this portal has become incredibly popular, that convinced the editors to change the principles of how the magazine Vogue, serving exclusively the fashion industry, and a little switch to real women.
I must say that Vogue remained until this is perhaps the only glossy magazine, which costs of its materials and covers full girls party (although completely abandon the theme of American Vogue even failed, despite assurances from Anna Wintour). Before that, many times, and Elle, and Marie Clair, and other publications devoted their numbers and cover women with large size clothing.

And as soon as the editor Franca Sozzani Italian turned to the subject, she immediately concluded: "These girls do not need to lose weight! Extra kilos make them so feminine and beautiful! ".
On the cover of the casting have been just three plus-size model: Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley. Photographer Steven Meisel chose the black and white aesthetics for the beauties.
And this with full cover models was the first in a decade. The last time the complete model graced the Italian Vogue in 2000, in the April issue. It was Sophie Dahl.
