 Weleda cosmetics brand has a rich history that dates back to 1921. This year the brand celebrates its 90th anniversary.
It should be noted that the market of cosmetic products includes many brands with a respectable age. Perhaps this is not in the automobile industry or in the fashion industry, especially in the field of high technologies. For example, Avon celebrates this year the 120th anniversary, Elizabeth Arden last year celebrated its 100th anniversary.
The German company Weleda was founded in 1921 by scientist and philosopher Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegmann Dutch physician. At first they made products for people with various illnesses.
After 1923, when the first oil massage with arnica from Weleda appeared in stores, the brand began to focus on organic cosmetics. Now the brand portfolio of more than 120 natural cosmetic products, and operates in more than 2,000 companies.
