Jean Paul Gaultier leaves Hermes
After seven years as artistic director of the women's clothing line iconic French fashion house Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier is leaving the post. Who will be doing the collection at home?

According to the edition of Business Week, 58-year-old designer will replace Christophe Lemaire, who since 2001 worked as the artistic director of the brand Lacoste, and before that worked with masters like Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent and Thierry Mugler. His first collection as a part of the fashion house can be seen on the shows of the season Fall-2011.

The latest collection under the label Gaultier Hermes will be shown to the public in October during the Paris Fashion Week. In a statement, Hermes said that the French fashion house Hermes expresses special thanks to Jean-Paul Gaultier for his outstanding creative contribution to the history of the House.

History Gauthier-Hermes began in 1999 when the famous French house bought 35% stake in Gaultier label for $ 23 million. Now the company's share in the name of Gautier is 45%.
