Cinnamomum camphor   - Cinnamomum camphora   - Eternally green tree from the laurel family. Sometimes it is called - Laurel camphor.

Cinnamomum camphor allocates a white crystalline substance called camphor. Camphor grows in China, Japan, Taiwan, North East Africa, South of the Arabian Peninsula on the island of Madagascar.

Cultivated in Africa, South America, Southern Europe, India, Ceylon, Egypt, Madagascar, on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus.

Camphor is used as a protective agent against infections, bronchitis and colds, in disorders of the nervous and respiratory systems, and cardiac arrest.

Camphor improves blood circulation, it is used topically for arthritis, muscle pains, rheumatism, sprains.

This is best suited camphor oil   - A 10% solution of camphor in sunflower oil.

It is also used Ointment camphor   - 10 g camphor 54 g of medical vaseline and 8 g of paraffin medical and 28 g anhydrous lanolin.

AND Alcohol camphor   - 10 g of camphor and alcohol 90% 70 ml, water to 100 ml. Used as an antiseptic and a mild local anesthetic.

Camphor can not be used in epilepsy and tendency to convulsions. In large doses, camphor is poisonous.

Camphor is added to the means of rubbing and stimulation of blood circulation, warming cream for athletes.

At home, white camphor is used for skin care.

Cleansing Lotion

100 ml of alcohol camphor, 50 grams of vodka, 2 tablespoons. tablespoons lemon juice, 2 egg yolks and 1 cup of water. All mix well. Keep refrigerated. Use to soften and cleanse the skin.

Mask for oily skin

Beat 1 egg protein with 3-4 drops of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of honey, add 10 drops of camphor alcohol, mix well. Apply on face for 10 minutes, rinse with warm water. This mask is good pores and dries the skin.

The mask for dry skin

1 tbsp. spoonful of soft cottage cheese mixed with 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of camphor alcohol, stir well and apply on face for 15 minutes.

Rinse with water at room temperature and rinse your face with cool black tea infusion.

To save the density and color of eyebrows

1 teaspoon of flax oil mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of castor oil and 5 drops of camphor oil. Mix well and lubricate the eyebrows.
