Want to try something completely new in the manicure? There is a time to experiment a little? Then pay attention to this idea. Surprisingly, sometimes the simplest things can be the subject of creativity!
Not so long ago it appeared on the market a novelty - magnetic nail polish. The principle of operation is as follows: in the varnish composition has particles responsive to a magnet. And when, after applying a varnish it is brought to the magnet (the varnish is not dry), that is formed on the cover design, nail, reacting to a magnet, it forms different patterns.
So I thought that the use of magnets in manicure - not such a bad idea. And we can it somehow develop. I propose a new nail idea
"Magnetic nails"
.
We will need:
- nail polish
- Magnet
- Mixing bowl (glass or plastic, not metal!)
- Brush
- Wooden or plastic stick
- Metal shavings
All ingredients must be prepared in advance to polish from drying out prematurely and missing.
Step 1.
Pour into a bowl to mix the nail polish. About a teaspoon, I used Essie nail polish in shade As Gold As It Gets (with a translucent golden pearlescent, very nice!). One layer of the lacquer I put previously. The following is already with metal shavings.
Step 2.
Adding metal shavings. I heard that in stores for needlework something like this for sale, but she, unfortunately, did not find. However, another solution found. So, about the chips. Spend a magnet for various objects in the room, the hallway, the kitchen. You will see that there are these gray magnetized particles. This is exactly what we need. Just as the human body is made up of the entire periodic table, we are also surrounded in a normal atmosphere, and metals and minerals, and so on. Therefore, a small amount of metal chips (of course, it will not completely clean, with dust particles and impurities) can be found almost under his nose. And if your dad or husband loves tinkering something, something in his closet with the nuts and bolts of this kind (metal particles) as you want! So fingers disconnect the chip from the magnet and pour in nail polish.
STEP 3.
Mix. Take a wooden stick (not metal!) And quickly mix the paint and chips. Luck should not be dry, so do it quickly.
Step 4.
Apply the paint with a brush. We place a regular layer, no more, no less. You can use a brush on the varnish, but the metal particles will remain on it, and mix with a clean finish. Therefore, if you plan to use more paint residues, it is better to take another brush.
Step 5.
The fun begins. We must work with each nail until the nail polish has dried up. Caused varnish, and then - a tray to nail magnet. You will feel, at what distance to keep him when the metal particles will line up to the magnet, creating a certain direction. Keeping the magnet number of minutes to dry your nail polish. Other varnishes in different ways, but about 3 minutes.
Step 6.
Done! As you can see, the magnet can be kept at different angles, depending on this we get a different picture. The distance from the magnet to nail an individual, the fact that there are strong magnets, are not. You need to empirically find the necessary distance and time of application.
Good luck in experiments with magnetic nails!
