The European Commission believes that parabens are not dangerous
Over the past few years, most manufacturers of cosmetics have started to market products that do not contain parabens. This was due to the results of some studies that show that parabens destroys female hormones.

However, the Scientific Committee of the European Union recently issued a clarification on the use of parabens in cosmetics. It states that "the impact that health parabens contained in cosmetics can be called insignificant".

The Committee concluded that only about one percent of parabens contained in cosmetics can penetrate into our body. This is a negligible amount, which may not be fatal destruction. At the same time, the Committee had recommended more detailed study of the metabolism of the skin exposed to parabens.
