The Forest Raised a Christmas Tree ... and will come in handy
 When approaching the New Year holiday, many of us are thinking about buying a live spruce.

The first written mention of the Christmas tree belongs to the XVI century. A German document dated 1561 year, it is said that at Christmas in the house should be no more than one tree. In the XVII century the Christmas tree settled not only in Germany but also in the Scandinavian countries, is gradually spreading throughout Europe.

In the US, Christmas tree arrived with German settlers. In Russia, the first Christmas tree in honor of the New Year's Eve appeared in 1700, when Peter I ordered to decorate the house with fir branches and trees and arrange fireworks. Beautiful ancient tradition of decorating their houses with pine tree symbolizing immortality, excites residents of cities not less than our ancestors.

But what to do with the Christmas tree and then, when the holidays come to an end? Just throw in a landfill is a pity. But, for example, needles, dispose of it is not necessarily because they are a unique natural healing and cosmetics.

Norway spruce - Picea abies L   - Evergreen tree up to 35-50 meters in height from the pine family. Crohn spruce is conical. The bark, scaly reddish-brown or gray-brown. For medicinal purposes   collect the needles, buds and young buds of the tree. Kidneys store them in early spring, before blooming. Cones are collected immature summer. In spruce needles contain: a large amount of vitamin C, essential oils, volatile, resin and tannin, trace elements - copper, chromium, aluminum, manganese, iron and others.

- Preparations of Norway spruce have a disinfectant, diaphoretic, analgesic, expectorant, choleretic and diuretic.

- Traditional medicine uses decoctions and infusions of spruce for the treatment of pneumonia and upper respiratory tract, for the prevention of scurvy, gout, kidney stones, in the form of baths for rheumatism, sciatica, gout, nervous excitement.

- Broth young twigs and cones treat dropsy, skin diseases, hepatitis.

- Resin collected from trees, make an ointment for the treatment of purulent wounds.

- Our ancestors used the spruce needles for disinfection of premises: pulmonary patients fumigated lighted fir branches.

- The same procedure kills viruses and most bacteria.

- Broth with decreasing immunity
2 tbsp. tablespoons chopped pine needles pour 1 cup boiling water, boil for 5 minutes, leave for 15 minutes, strain and take 30 drops in a tablespoon of boiled water.

- When vitamin deficiency

- Bronchitis
1 tbsp. spoon washed, chopped pine needles pour 1 cup boiling water, boil for 10 minutes, 10 push, strain, add 1 teaspoon of honey and drink during the day.

- Lotion, cleansing the skin

- Cream of spruce needles for aging skin

- Mask of spruce needles for aging skin

Apply the mixture on your face. After 5 minutes, rinse with warm water. The mask smooths wrinkles.

- Shampoo for strengthening of hair
Buy at the pharmacy fir essential oil and add to your shampoo. 1 drop in the cap.

- A decoction of spruce needles rinsed hair after washing to strengthen hair roots and nutrition.
