 Our flower beds and lawns become dull and lose their charm if at the end of summer - early autumn, they will not be brightly blooming marigolds. Our mothers they affectionately called velvet ribbon.

Russian name marigold just given flowers for their velvety petals. In Ukraine, they are called - Chernobrivtsev .

Marigolds   - Tagetes Patula   - An annual herbaceous plant of the family Asteraceae . Erect marigold grows in height from 25 to 120 cm. They branched stems form a broad and thick bushes. The leaves have pinnate dissected.

Lotion for face marigold

2 tbsp. spoons of crushed marigold pour 1 cup boiling water, press 1 hour in a thermos, drain.

For oily skin, add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vodka.
When dry and normal 2 tbsp. tablespoons of rose water.
Use morning and evening, as a regular lotion.

Mask for oily skin with acne

Boil 2 racemes marigold ½ cup of boiled water, half an hour, drain. Wipe clean face morning and evening decoction.

Take 2 tbsp. tablespoons of broth and add the potato starch so as to obtain a creamy mass. Apply on face for 10 minutes. Rinse with water at room temperature.


Broth from the previous recipe is useful to rinse hair after each wash for 1, 5 - 2 months. Hair will become soft, silky, shiny, will grow faster and better comb.
