French manicure is really American?
 Apparently, the French manicure has come to us from the United States and not in France, it is implied in the title. Famous Hollywood makeup artist claims that it was he, in fact, was the inventor of the nail, which is known around the world under the name "French".

The portal has information that Pink Jeff (Jeff Pink) , Make-up artist who worked in a movie 70 years in Los Angeles, the first to come up with a combination in manicure white tip of the nail with a base of solid color. This was done to ensure that the actress would often update a wardrobe without having to make a new manicure for each suit.

Then Jeff Pink has brought to the podium of Paris fashion trend, called "natural" manicure, who immediately picked up the models and designers. On his return to the United States, in honor of his European friends, Pink renamed this type in the French manicure.

In 1975, Jeff Pink Nail opened his company - the well-known Orly International And in 1978 he registered the name The Original French Manicure   as a trademark.

Despite the assurances of Mr. Pink, some argue that the French manicure has been in vogue in the early 20th century, and that it was invented Max Factor   in 1930 for the French fashionistas.

Others believe that the word "French" is often used simply to point out some refinement and chic product or direction, and does not necessarily have to do with France.
